Problem

The Challenge: The objective was to address the lack of inspirational images in the product catalogs of Easy.cl. The need arose from customer interviews in the context of home improvement projects.

Objectives: Create a generative image tool based on customer input to enhance the shopping experience and increase engagement.

Research

User Research: Conducted interviews with customers involved in home improvement projects to identify the need for more inspirational images in the product catalogs.

Market Analysis: Analyzed existing tools and solutions to understand the gaps in providing inspirational content for home improvement shoppers.

Ideation

Brainstorming: Held brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for a tool that could create inspirational images based on user input.

Sketches/Wireframes: Developed initial sketches and wireframes focusing on a user-friendly interface for selecting space, style, and color.

Design

Low-Fidelity Prototypes: Created low-fidelity prototypes to test the concept and gather initial feedback.

Development

Collaboration: Worked closely with the development team to ensure the design was feasible and could be implemented effectively within the hackathon timeframe.

Implementation: Used the Party Rock tool to develop and implement the generative image tool.

Metrics

Performance Metrics: Aimed to increase the “add to cart” rate by providing more engaging and inspirational content.
